Cloud and DevOps
Determinds provides cloud and DevOps services covering environments, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and observability, so every deployment is a routine event. Our teams deliver 4 releases a month in steady state, on AWS, GCP, or your own infrastructure.
01 What we deliver
Cloud infrastructure and DevOps built for every release
Determinds designs, builds, and maintains the environments and pipelines your system depends on, with every change versioned, reviewed, and repeatable.
Cloud environments
Production, staging, and development environments on AWS, GCP, or on-premise infrastructure, defined as code in Terraform so each one can be rebuilt on demand.
CI/CD pipelines
Automated build, test, and deployment pipelines in GitHub Actions, so every change passes the same checks before it reaches production.
Release automation
Blue-green and canary deployments with automated rollback, designed for near-zero downtime during updates and feature rollouts.
Containers and orchestration
Services packaged in Docker and orchestrated with Kubernetes, scaling horizontally as your load grows.
Observability and alerting
Logging, metrics, and alerting in place from the first launch, with 24/7 monitoring under a maintenance agreement.
Maintenance and supportSecured environments
Deployments into restricted environments, including on-premise infrastructure and secured government locations where network access is limited.
02 How we deliver
From an assessment of your current setup to routine releases
Assessment
Our team reviews your current infrastructure, deployment process, and costs, and agrees the target architecture with you.
Infrastructure as code
Environments are defined in Terraform and kept under version control, so every change is reviewed and repeatable.
Pipeline build
CI/CD pipelines run automated unit, integration, and load tests before every release.
Migration
Workloads move to the new environment in planned stages, each with its own rollback plan.
Observability
Logging, metrics, and alerting are configured against the thresholds your service levels require.
Handover and support
Runbooks and documentation go to your team at handover, and Determinds maintains the environment under a service-level agreement.
Release discipline your team can rely on
Every environment is built to absorb new load and new services without a rebuild.

04 Frequently asked
Questions about cloud and DevOps
Which cloud providers does Determinds work with?
Determinds works with AWS, GCP, and on-premise infrastructure, and chooses for each engagement against your requirements for security, cost, latency, and data residency.
Can our system be hosted on our own servers?
Yes. Determinds deploys to on-premise infrastructure and to restricted environments, and has deployed into seven or more secured government locations where network access, device control, and physical entry are all restricted.
How do you avoid downtime during releases?
Releases go out through blue-green and canary deployments with automated rollback, so an update reaches production gradually and is reversed automatically if a check fails.
Can Determinds take over infrastructure another team set up?
Yes. Our team starts with an assessment of the current environment and pipeline, documents what is in place, and moves it to infrastructure as code in planned stages.
Will our own team be able to manage the infrastructure?
Yes. Every environment is defined as code and handed over with runbooks and documentation. Determinds can also maintain it for you under a service-level agreement.
