Determinds is a custom technology studio founded in Cairo in 2016, designing, building, and maintaining systems for banks, hospitals, ministries, and large enterprises working under regulation, scale, and deadlines that do not move. Our systems have reached more than fifteen countries, and in most engagements the team that built a system still supports it years later.

Determinds is headquartered in Cairo, with a presence in Kansas City, MO, USA, and assigns one accountable team to each engagement, so the team that builds your system is the team that supports it three years later. Our longest system has been continuously in production for five years, and our longest client relationship is the same age.
Clients stay with Determinds because we take systems through security review, integrate them with the platforms that already run their business, work within their change control, and produce the reporting an auditor asks for, whether that auditor sits in a bank, a ministry, a hospital group, or a school network. Our record includes three external security audits passed, penetration tests by two banks’ own information security teams, one Central Bank of Egypt approval navigated, and deployment into secured government locations.

Meet the founders
Amir Sabry
Amir Sabry is a technology entrepreneur and the CEO of several companies. Before his independent career, he was head of technology and franchise sales at RE/MAX Egypt, where he led the development of a new CRM and an automated marketing system. Amir also brings extensive experience in digital marketing and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Fidel Kaldas
Fidel Kaldas is an experienced chief technology officer with a long record in information technology and services. He is skilled in Java, JavaScript, IoT, and data-center automation, and brings strong operations experience to every engagement. Fidel holds a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering.
